The Shared folder exists so that users may pass files back and forth between each other. Open another Finder window, select Users and then Shared. Your music will be in the iTunes folder which is in Music. Log out and then log into that new account. (but that's not my problem).ДЄfter logging off and logging back in later in the day I noticed that a new user account had been created on my Mac (at no point during the migration process was it made clear to me that this would happen). On completion I thought - OK all I need to do now is open iTunes and all my music from my old PC will be there right?. I followed the instructions and ended up with the two computers side by side showing their progress bars as my music files were slowly copied across. After looking at the various options for doing this I landed on the Migration Assistant which, on the face of it, sounded like the easiest way of doing it.
